African Legacy: An untold design story
This is a story of an icon, Eden heights located on Elsie Femi Pearse Street in the exclusive district of Victoria Isaland in Lagos, Nigeria. The 16 floor project is spread on three wings A, B & C with 21,000 sq.m of sublime accommodation of 40 apartments and nine maisaonnete penthouses, each providing the ultimate statement for luxury living. According to the promoters, Eden Heights is “conceptualized to embody the ultimate living in urban style. The design concept stretches the sensibilities of modern architecture and redefines the African culture. Penthouses located on the top six floors are designed to have spectacular views to the Five Cowries creek lagoon and Atlantic Ocean, unhindered by the floor to ceiling windows.
The apartment have modern design kitchen, spectacular views and access to the swimming pool, spa and gym also a nice library. Bar area and restaurants inspire the African culture in each of the furnishing blocks. The floor finish is a combination black galaxy granite and grey marbles. Walls have got a rustic finish with the travertine and a rich look with the Armani marbles on the columns. There are elements of wooden cladding and mirror on the walls, ceiling and floor. Ceiling was designed to showcase the hidden lights to create a different mood for the rooms. Furniture were modern and leather crafted with cnc routed design and feather kind of finishes. furnishings were created in golden & beige combination for luxury feel.
